The Android 5.1 Lollipop update is now rolling out to the NVIDIA Shield Tablet, in the form of Update 3.0. The update can be downloaded under Settings on both LTE and WiFi variants of the NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

The first generation Motorola Moto G is now receiving the Android 5.0.2 software update. According to the manufacturer, the update brings Lock Screen notifications, the new Recent Apps menu, the Ambient Display which will show notifications even while the screen is off, and the new two-finger slide gesture that will reveal the Quick Settings menu from any page (and the new flashlight that is part of Quick Settings).
Sony has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia Z1, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact and Sony Xperia Z1 Ultra. The new update will move the build number from 14.5.A.0.242 to version 14.5.A.0.270.
