 September 5, 2012 may mark the unveiling of the RadioShack no contract cellular service. The service which will run on the Cricket wireless network.

There is still no news on which devices will join the lineup but rumors suggest that the HTC One V may be one of them. RadioShack will even offer a free 8GB microSD card with the purchase of any Muve Music devices to tempt users into choosing their network.



At this moment RadioShack has still to reveal their plans for pricing but the fact that users wont have to sign the dreaded two-year contract may win them some loyal customers.

If you have been planning to get the HTC One X on AT&T you may want to check out on Radio Shack who is planning to offer the device for pre-order starting this Sunday (April 22nd) according to a leaked internal memo. The advantage of getting the device through RadioShack is that you will receive a special code which will allow you to download seven Coldplay songs for free, including the band’s single ‘Charlie Brown’.


The other advantage is that Radio Shack is offering the device at $149 with a two year contract, compared to the $199 price tag from AT&T.

The AT&T version of the HTC One X will replace the quad-core processor from the international variant with a dual-core chip which has an integrated LTE radio. AT&T and HTC have come to this decision to offer better batter life on the device.

The HTC One X will arrive on AT&T on May 6th and will the first handset on the carrier to feature Android 4.0 and Beats Audio. The HTC One X is also the first handset from the company to feature HTC Sense 4.0 UI.

You can get the device by either signing a two-year contract or get it off-contract and will be in effect starting Sunday (Dec 11).

You can get the 16GB Apple iPhone 4S at $169.99 compared to the $199.99 regular price. If you are extending a current contract you will have to pay 449.99 for the phone or 799.99 without a contract. The 32GB model will cost $269.99, $549.99 and $899.99 respectively with the 64GB model costing $369.99, $469.99  and $999.99 respectively

For the iPhone 4 the 8GB and 16GB models will cost $69.99, while the 32GB model will cost $169.99 with a 2-year contract. If you are extending your contract the 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models will cost $349.99, $399.99 and $499.99. If you are looking to get the iPhone 4 off-contract the 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models will cost $699.99, $749.99 and $849.99.

Last but not least is the 8GB iPhone 3GS is free with a 2-year contract, 249.99 for those looking to extend their contract and 599.99 of contract. The 3GS may not have the fancy features found in the newer iPhones, but it't free price tag has brought new attention to the device.

Radio Shack has not revealed how long this price reduction deal will stay active, so if you are interested in the discounted prices, you may want to get them while they are still available
