If you know what we are talking about, you need to follow these steps:

1. Download DN4 custom ROM for your Galaxy Note II
2. You need to have Samsung 4.3 Bootloader or newer. MJ5 firmware Bootloader is recommended for those who wish to avoid knox counter. You can check one of the following:
• http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2205009 (under SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVE)
• http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500823. Please use latest KitKat Bootloader if you wish to be able to plug your phone while turn off.
3. Download and install TWRP custom recovery. You can also use CWM recovery, but TWRP is recommended.
4. Next, remember to backup your app and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything
5. Go to TWRP/CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
6. Make a nandroid backup if you haven't done so.
7. Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)
8. Now go to choose to install the rom zip file.
9. Flash the rom. It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots.

A new report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be receiving their Android 4.4 KitKat software updates by the end of March this year.

An insider with knowledge on the subject claims that both devices will be updated in late Q1 of this year, not long after the expected Galaxy S4 KitKat rollout. The update will include performance tweaks and updates, and a few new software features including the transparent status bar, new print feature from settings, and immersive full-screen mode will be included.
The KitKat update for the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 is expected to be released in phases, which means that carrier branded variants will likely receive the update as much as a full month later.

Samsung has been working  hard to bring the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software updates to their flagship devices. This is mainly because the company wants to extend support for the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which requires Bluetooth 4.0 LE from the Android 4.3 update.

It looks like the update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II could be pretty close to ready, because the  N7100XXUEMJ5 test version of the software has leaked out.

The final version of Android 4.3 are expected to arrive for the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Samsung Galaxy S III sometime in November.

This test firmware is only for those of you who know what you're doing. Its best that you ignore this software if you are not familiar with download mode or recovery. If you are confident with installing such uypdates you can download the file using the following link

Recently we have been seeing many rumors on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II. Now French carrier SFR has released a roadmap with information on when their devices will be receiving their next updates. According to SFR, the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 should be getting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean sometime in November-December, while the almighty Galaxy S4 is set to receive it in October.

This in no way confirms that the U.S. variants of these devices will get the updates at the same time, but at least is indicates a time frame for Samsung to start rolling out the updates.

We know that Google is already readying Android 4.4 KitKat, and Nexus owners will be proudly parading an even newer version of Android by the time the previous update reaches Samsung owners. Still we feel Samsung owners will be happy that Android 4.3, especially because it brings Galaxy Gear compatibility to many of the older devices.

While Samsung offers improved screen quality, the camera, processor and the software experience with the Samsung Galaxy S IV, fans of the Samsung Galaxy Note II would likely prefer the larger screen size and the S Pen functionality which are exclusives to the Note Series. T-Mobile is releasing an update for their Samsung Galaxy Note II which will bring Android 4.1.2 and the T889UVBMB4 software version. The update will introduce LTE compatibility for the device along with other improvements and enhancements from the latest version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

You can download the update to your device over the air (OTA) once you receive the notification or by connecting your handset to your computer through the Samsung Kies software.

Keep in mind that while the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be LTE compatible after the update, T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network is still not widely available. The carrier has promised to add LTE coverage to Las Vegas and Kansas City before the end of this month. By the middle of the year T-Mobile’s 4G LTE service promises to reach 100 million people with the number doubling to 200 million before the end of the year.

The BlackBerry Z10 will also join the T-Mobile network this year as a 4G LTE device and the company will definitely work on improving its LTE device portfolio over the course of this year. One advantage that T-Mobile customer’s will have over competing networks is that they can fall back on the carrier’s fast HSPA+ network where LTE is not available while carrier’s like Verizon only have 3G to fall back on.

Additionally T-Mobile will also benefit from the $1 billion worth of spectrum that AT&T had to turn over after its failed attempt at purchasing the carrier along with the spectrum they will gain from their merger with MetroPCS once the process is completed.

AT&T has rolled out a software update for their Samsung Galaxy Note II on Friday for the devices running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The update which is 8MB in size and updates the base-band to version I317UCAMA4 is aimed at closing the Exynos exploit which was discovered on Samsung devices. The update has already been released for the International Samsung Galaxy Note II and was also released for the Samsung Galaxy Note II for Verizon.

The exploit affects devices powered by Samsung’s Exynos 4210 or Exynos 4412 processors and allows any app installed on the device to be used to gain access to the device and wipe the memory or brick the device.

The Galaxy Note II is one of Samsung’s top devices which border between a smartphone and tablet. It features a 5.5 inch HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, 4G LTE connectivity, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Before you update your device make sure you battery is fully charges and that you have an active SIM card in the device. Once the update is available for the device you will receive an OTA update notification, but you can also manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > About device> Software update > Check for Updates.

If you have been following our website, you may know that T-Mobile is selling the Nexus 4 for $49.99 on contract. As a result of the discounted price the stock of Google’s flagship smartphone has been running low and you miss out on a chance to get your hands on one of these elusive handset.

Now Walmart is also offering the Google Nexus 4 at $148 with a two-year contract. But if you are prefer something from Samsung’s lineup Walmart also has the Samsung Galaxy Note II in white for $278 on contract.

If you are thinking why should I spend $148 on the Nexus 4 when I can get it for $49.99 from T-Mobile, you will have to keep in mind that the deal is only on until February 18th, when the Nexus 4 will go back to its regular $199.99 on contract. So the Walmart option is a better option to fall back on in case you miss out on the ongoing T-Mobile promotion. With its 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, the Nexus 4 is definitely a great device to own. Additionally it is one of the only devices running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will be front in line for future Android updates.

But not everyone likes the stock Android experience, and the Galaxy Note II offers users a great alternative. This phone-tablet (or phablet) which carries T-Mobile’s branding features a 5.5 inch HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Its larger display, Samsung optimized experience and integrated stylus make it one of the best devices in the market. Additionally Walmart’s asking price is $91 cheaper than what it costs at T-Mobile, making the offering even more appealing.
