Apple unveils iPhone discounts for veterans and active military members
Apple has launched a new discount program for active military members and veterans. Similar to Apple's educational discounts, it offers 10% off Apple's catalog, including iPhones.
You have to be an active duty member of the US military or a vet to take advantage of these discounts. When entering the store, you have to agree to a disclaimer before you can view these discounted prices.
One highlight of this discount program is the reduced prices for iPhones, with the iPhone 7 having a low starting price of $404. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 starts at $539, the iPhone XR $674 and the iPhone XS at $899. The most expensive iPhone XS Max is available $989, a low price unattainable for members of the general public.

Get the iPhone 8 for $500 and the iPhone 8 Plus for $600 from Costco
Costco already has some great deals in store for us during their Black Friday Sales event, with discounts on the iPad, smartwatches and more. Now the retailer has revealed a new deal on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
From now until November 15, Costco Warehouse members can purchase a brand-new iPhone 8 with 64GB for $499.99, while the larger iPhone 8 Plus is priced at $599.99. These happen to be the same prices Apple charges for these smartphones in certified refurbished condition.
The only difference purchasing these handsets from Costco is that they require qualified T-Mobile activations in order to be eligible for the discount. Given that you'd likely need an activation in any case, and that T-Mobile sells these smartphones at $100 more than what Costco is asking, you are walking away with a good deal. While the marked-down prices include $50 instant savings, additional taxes and fees could apply.

The Apple Refurbished Store is a great place to get discounts on Apple hardware. What's great about purchasing hardware on this store is that Apple has restored these devices to pristine condition and re-packs them in their original packaging. As of now, the store offers both the Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus.
The iPhone 8 which currently retails for $599 is offered at $499 (16% off) and is available in gold, silver, and space gray starting with 64GB of storage. You get a 1-year warranty which has been restored to look brand new by Apple with a new body and battery.
The iPhone 8 Plus prices start at $599 (retails for $699) for the 64GB model and have the same warranty and color options. It is important to keep in mind that as refurbished units, the availability is based on stock, so you may not have the color, storage option or type you want at any given time. You can always check back if you don't find what you are looking for
We are curious to see if the discontinued Apple iPhone X is also offered on discount on the refurbished store, but if we had to guess we'd say Apple would likely skip it. Especially since the handset isn't offered on Apple's retail store anymore.

T-Mobile matches AT&T and Verizon's iPhone deal with 'BOGO Squared' promotion
After AT&T and Verizon offered BOGO type deals for anyone purchasing a new iPhone by giving them $700 credit toward an additional device, T-Mobile seems to have felt left out with their $300 trade-in deal. Now the Un-Carrier is upping their own offer with a new "iPhone BOGO squared" promotion.
Basically, T-Mobile's 'iPhone BOGO squared' deal matches what Verizon and AT&T offer in the form of $700 credit toward a second device. But the also add a free voice line to go along with it.
Potential customers will have until Thursday, September 20, at midnight to get both $700 off a second iPhone and an “additional” complimentary service line... with an eligible T-Mobile ONE 2+ voice plan.
You will be able to pick from the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. The device that the $700 discount is applied to must be of equal or lesser value than the first one. For example, purchasing an iPhone XS will get you an iPhone 8 for free, but if you want two iPhone XS, you will have to pay $300 extra for the second unit.
Just keep in mind you’ll need to agree to monthly device payment plans for both handsets, with the $700 savings available as 24 equal bill credits.

Save $700 on AT&T when you buy new iPhones
The new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are now available for pre-order. While Verizon and T-Mobile have already posted their deals, AT&T has also joined in offering its own $700 savings to customers looking to purchase a new iPhone.
With AT&T you can purchase either the new iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max and get an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus for free in the form of monthly credits. You can also chose to get that $700 in the form of a discount on a 256GB version of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max. The discount will be applied in the form of a $23.33 bill credit every month over the period of two and a half years.
In any of these cases, you'd require a new service line, two separate AT&T Next agreements, and a minimum combined $65 monthly service rate (after discount). Other activation/upgrade fees and terms will likely apply to the final cost.

With the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR succeeding last year's iPhone X, Apple has comfortably decided it no longer needs to be a part of its lineup. While Apple wants customers to migrate away from older hardware like the iPhone 6S and iPhone SE even though they still support iOS 12.
The iPhone 7 is now Apple's entry level iPhone, priced at $449 while the iPhone 7 Plus will cost you $569. Last year's iPhone 8 is priced at $599 while the iPhone 8 Plus will cost $699.
