Microsoft in Malaysia has partnered up with AirAsia for a new promotion, name "Buy a Lumia and Fly", where company is offering a free return flight with purchase of a new Microsoft Lumia 535.
If you purchase a Lumia 535 handset between March 20 and April 30 from one of dozens of participating retailers across Malaysia, you will receive 5,000 BIG Points in AirAsia's Loyalty Programme. This is enough to buy you a return flight ticket to Phuket, Krabi or Singapore - excluding taxes and other relevant fees included in the tickets.
In order to get in on the offer, customers need to purchase a Lumia 535 handset from an eligible retailer. Then they need to register with AirAsia’s BIG Points system and make a claim by entering their details in this form. Also be sure to checkout the full terms and conditions before you proceed.

Microsoft is pushing out an update to the Lumia 535, which aims to fix a persistent touchscreen sensitivity issue that some owners of the smartphone have encountered.Microsoft previously released an OTA update for the Lumia 535 that was designed to fix these touch screen bugs, but that patch didn't solve the problems for all owners of the smartphone. Hopefully Microsoft will have resolved with the new update.
The update is currently rolling out only to certain regions, including India, Taiwan, and the UK. This is likely so that Microsoft can evaluate if the issue has been rectified before a full global rollout. In any case, you should be receiving the update OTA if you live in one of these regions and you will receive an alert when it is available for download. You can also try manually checking for the update under Settings > Phone Update > Check for Update.

The company also promised at the time, that it hopes to complete pushing out the Lumia Denim update by the end of February. Now the company has started rolling out Lumia Denim for the Lumia 525, Lumia 535, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 in India.
Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 with Lumia Denim brings several notable improvements to many devices, including the highly anticipated digital personal assistant Cortana to select markets. Along with imaging improvements on high-end devices, this the update also includes several other improvements such as folders for your Start Screen, a new version of Internet Explorer, an improved Glance screen, and more.
The update is being pushed out to devices OTA (over-the-air) as we speak, but it may take awhile to rollout to all handsets. Once the update is available, you will get a notification to download it, but you can also try manually checking for the update under Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates.

Microsoft Lumia 535 released in India, coming to the UK
The Lumia 535, which happens to be the first Windows Phone from Microsoft Mobile is now available India in its dual-SIM form. The handset has been priced at 9,199 INR ($149) and is available in black, white, green and orange.
The Lumia 535 features a 5 inch display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera a 1905mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM. The Lumia 535 is the successor to devices like the Lumia 520 / Lumia 521 and the Lumia 530. It features a front camera similar to the one found on the camera centric Lumia 730 / Lumia 735.
India has become the first market to sell a Microsoft Mobile device and we expect the Lumia 535 to be offered in other emerging markets as well. However the handset is also expected to make its way across other markets around the world including UK, where it is listed as "coming soon".

Microsoft has announced its first self-branded Lumia smartphone - the Microsoft Lumia 535. The new Lumia is the first to not come with a Nokia branding and is here to bring "free integrated Microsoft experiences" to customers who can't afford expensive smartphones.
As expected, the Lumia 535 doesn't bring high end hardware and is the successor to devices like the Lumia 520 and Lumia 530. It features a 5 inch touch display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 1905mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM. On its rear is a 5MP camera with LED flash, and you also get a 5MP camera in front, similar to the one found on the selfie-phone, the Lumia 730 (Lumia 735).
The new handset weighs 146 grams, and measures 140.2 x 72.4 x 8.8 mm (almost as thin as the 8.5 mm Lumia 830, which is the thinnest Lumia to date). The Microsoft Lumia 535 will be available in white, black, cyan, bright orange, bright green, and dark grey. China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh will be the first countries to get the handset, with other (unspecified) markets to follow. The handset is expected to retail for €110 before taxes and subsidies.
Microsoft will also offer various accessories for the Lumia 535 including, colorful cases, portable wireless speakers or the Coloud Bang speakers.
