The Honor 8X was unveiled in China earlier today alongside the Honor 8X Max. While it will remain an exclusive to China for now, we expect one of the siblings will eventually be offered to the US and European markets.
The handset features a 6.5 inch display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution, dual-SIM capabilities, up to 128GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, a 16 megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup with 20-megapixel main and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The handset is powered by the mid-range Huawei Kirin 710 chipset which packs a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, up to 6GB of RAM and a Mali G51 GPU. The 7.8mm think Honor 8X also packs a 3750mAh battery.
The Honor 8X is available for as low as ¥1399.00 for the base model or ¥1899.00 (around $280) for the 128GB model with 6GB of RAM.
