Google Nexus 4 in white officially announced

Google and LG have officially announced the white variant of the Nexus 4. However it looks like the unit is not fully coated in white and has a black panel in front. The Nexus 4 features the same 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

There is no change in terms of price either, as the Nexus 4 remains one of the most affordable smartphones in its class at just $299 for its 8GB model, while the 16GB version costs $349.

"Nexus 4 set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones. Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option."

If you are interested in getting your hands on the White Nexus 4, you will be able to do so when it launches in Hong Kong on May 29th, with a subsequent global rollout in select markets" across Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East thereafter.

The only issue is that we aren't sure if this handset will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean yet.
