Facebook for Windows Phone received a simultaneous update across both platforms, moving to version 2.9 for Windows Phone 7 and version 4.2 for Windows Phone 8. The app featured Microsoft's Modern UI design and included Facebook Chat, fully integrated into the native Messaging hub on Windows Phone. No official changelog was released with this update, so any new features spotted in the comments at the time would have been community-discovered.
