Angry Birds Rio is now available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The game brings updated graphics and new gameplay built around levels inspired by the animated movie Rio, pairing the familiar physics-based slingshot mechanics of the original Angry Birds with unique twists tied to the film.
The Story
The original flock is kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janeiro, where they escape their captors and set out to rescue Blu and Jewel, two rare macaws and the stars of the Fox motion picture Rio. Two full episodes with 60 levels make up the launch content, with hidden fruits scattered throughout, new achievements, and a boss fight to test your skills. Episodic updates with new content were promised throughout 2011.
