Angry Birds Rio is available now for Android. In Angry Birds Rio, the original flock is kidnapped and swept away by smugglers to Rio de Janeiro, where they escape their captors and set out to rescue Blu and Jewel, two rare macaws and stars of the hit animated film Rio. The game pairs the familiar physics-based slingshot gameplay of the original Angry Birds with new mechanics and twists inspired by the movie.
What's in the Game
Sixty Rio-themed levels make up the core of the game, blending strategy, skill, and brute force across a range of environments. Hidden secrets are scattered throughout, and each level can be rated up to three stars for those who want to perfect their approach. Blu and Jewel from the film join the flock as playable characters alongside the original birds, each with their own unique abilities. Trophies can be earned as you progress, and additional birds, levels, and content from the Rio universe were promised for future updates.
