To enhance its gaming experience, the Nubia Red Magic Mars includes capacitive shoulder buttons on the sides, an add-on gamepad that fits into its USB Type-C port at the bottom, force feedback, DTS 7.1 support, and a hardware monitoring tool. The rear of the device also features an RGD LED strip, which is a common visual on gaming phones. The handset runs RedMagic OS 1.6 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
