Apple is sending out invitations for an event which will take place on September 9 at 10AM Pacific Time, along with the text "Wish we could say more". Apple is expected to unveil two new iPhones including a 4.7 inch smartphone and a 5.5 inch device, along with an iOS powered smartwatch. So we clearly can look forward to some new hardware during the event.
Some new information which has appeared following the invite suggests that Apple will be introducing the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 during the September 9 event, along with an 8GB variant of the iPhone 5s. Besides that Apple is not expected to larger sized iOS device or the Apple iWatch. The 5.5 inch iOS device is expected to launched later this year, while the iWatch is said to be delayed until 2015.
Of course none of this information is official, so we will have to wait for the upcoming event, which is just a week from Tuesday, to find out. Do you think a large screened iPhone will turn things around for Apple against the onslaught from Android? Share your thoughts with us below.
