Samsung Galaxy S5 - Finger Scanner video demo

The recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5 brings some new hardware elements which includes a Finger Scanner on its home button. While new Galaxy devices are usually smaller than thinner than their predecessors, the Galaxy S5 is actually taller and wider than the Galaxy S4. This is likely due to the Finger Scanner which requires a thicker bottom bezel. This scanner, much like the one found on the Apple iPhone 5s, provides biometric authentication for unlocking your phone. It can also be used for secure mobile payments and transactions.
