Nokia Lumia 920 for Rogers receives Lumia Black software update with GDR3

The Nokia Lumia 920 on the Rogers network in Canada is reportedly receiving the Nokia Lumia Black software update with Windows Phone Update 3 (GDR3). The international Lumia 920 received the update in the second week of January followed by the Lumia 920 on AT&T.

With Lumia Black your device will receive several new features and improvements to both handsets including greatly improved camera performance, lots of performance tweaks, and support for new apps like App Folder, Refocus and the new unified Nokia Camera. Lumia 920 users will also get access to premium apps like Nokia Refocus and Nokia Storyteller, which are exclusive to the company's flagship handsets.

The Lumia Black update brings lots of new features, improvements in imaging, app updates and new Nokia apps, like: Refocus, Beamer, Storyteller and Camera to the devices.

Your Lumia will also receiving several enhancements from Microsoft through Windows Phone Update 3 (GDR3) which include Safe Driving Mode, Custom Ringtones, improved storage management and WiFi sharing, New Multitasking and Screen Rotation Lock.

The update will be rolled out OTA (over-the-air) and you will receive a notification when Lumia Black is available for your device. If you have not received the notification you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Phone Update to get started.
