Mozilla has released Firefox for Android version 19.0, bringing a small but useful set of new features, improvements, and security enhancements to the mobile browser. Firefox for Android is a free, fast, and customisable browser built around open web principles, with privacy and security features baked in to help keep you safe while browsing.
What's New in Firefox for Android 19.0
Version 19.0 adds support for themes, giving you more control over how the browser looks on your device. The minimum CPU speed requirement has also been lowered from 800MHz to 600MHz, which opens Firefox up to a wider range of Android hardware. Rounding out the update is the addition of Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese localisation support.
Mozilla has also released Firefox 19 for PC, Mac and Linux alongside this mobile update, available to download from the Mozilla website.
