Spotify for Android updated (2.0) with faster app startup and more

Spotify for Android has been updated to version 2.0 with a few new features and improvements. With Spotify for Android, you get access to a large catalog of music, where you can listen to artists and albums, or create your own playlist of your favorite songs.

Spotify for Android version 2.0 has the following new features and improvements:

• New: Audio notifications on your phone won't stop the music.
  Improved: Zippier app startup, even with a poor connection.

Among the improvements, the updated app will now startup much faster, even when you have a poor internet connection. App speeds are always welcome, but we are not sure if this warranted a significant version 2.0 revision. Besides that, Spotify has also implemented a feature that will keep music playing when you get a notification. Other apps pause the track and play a notification sound when messages are received, which can get irritating.
