Firefox for Android updated (14.0.1)

Firefox for Android has been updated to version 14.0.1, bringing several new features and improvements to the mobile browser. Firefox for Android lets you carry your desktop browsing experience with you, including your bookmarks and browsing history, all synced across your devices.

What's New in Firefox 14.0.1 for Android

This release is a phone-focused update. Adobe Flash support has been added, alongside a redesigned user interface and a new start page that gives the browser a fresher feel on launch. Performance has also been improved across the board, and the minimum system requirement has been updated to Android 2.2 or greater. Additional locale support has been included as well, broadening the range of languages available.

ICS users note: If you have enabled "Don't keep activities" in your device settings, you may experience issues when trying to select results in the Awesome Screen. Reverting that setting should resolve the problem.

Known Issues

A few issues are present in this release worth being aware of before you update. Flash is not supported on tablets or certain devices, so if you rely on Flash on a tablet you may want to hold off. Galaxy Note users may also experience stylus issues with the keyboard, and Find in Page is not supported in this version.
