Walmart has already added the upcoming device to their systems, and set it's price at $349. The device was initially expected in Spring, but was delayed to be released during the second half of the year with no reasons given for it's delay.
Android 3.0 initially did not come with support for smaller displays. Due to this restriction, 7 inch tablets were restricted to run Android 2x. However with Android 3.2 extending it's support to smaller display sizes there is a chance that the reason for the delay could be in favor of an updated version of Android on the A100. Android 3.2 will bring an updated Movie Studio along with the Movies and Music apps. The device performance is also said to improve in this version of Android.
Android 3.2 will be the last version before Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which promises to merge the smartphone and tablet experience.
