Mozilla has released Firefox 12, arriving just five weeks after Firefox 11. While each update in Mozilla's rapid release cycle does not always bring a long list of headline features, the quick turnaround means bugs get fixed fast and performance keeps moving in the right direction.
What's New in Firefox 12
The Find feature has been improved in this release, making in-page text search a smoother experience. The download manager has also received some attention with further refinements to how downloads are handled and presented.
Windows users note: Firefox 12 is the last version of the browser to support Windows 2000, Windows XP RTM, and Windows XP SP1. You will need to be running Windows XP SP2 or later to continue receiving Firefox updates going forward.
