The ICONIA TAB A100 is a tablet device designed and manufactured by Acer and runs Google's Android tablet operating system. Unlike its sibling the ICONIA TAB A500, this model has a smaller 7 inch display for easier mobility. The A100 also features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP camera for video calling. This device has not data or voice connectivity over GSM or CDMA like the ICONIA TAB A101.

The Iconia Tab is a tablet designed and manufactured by Acer and runs Google's Android (Honeycomb) 3.0. It features a 10.1-inch display, two cameras, HMDI, Bluetooth and WiFi and it is powered by the NVidia Tegra 2 dual-core chipset. The difference between the A500 and the A501 is that the A500 is Wi-Fi only, whereas the A501 is Wi-Fi and 3G.

Android 3.0 hardware specifications confirmedGoogle has released  and the Google Nexus One has already received the new update while other handsets wait patiently in line until they get their share of the newest version of Android.

However Google has already shared some information on their next version of Android which should come with version 3.0 and be codenamed Gingerbread.
