Razer Phone receives Android 9.0 Pie update

The original Razer Phone is now receiving the Android 9.0 Pie software update. Last month, the company confirmed that the update for the first time on its Reddit page, stating that it would be arriving in the coming weeks.

Fortunately, it looks like the update is here, and some owners of the Razer Phone are reporting that they have successfully installed the update.

Razer has put the rollout on hold due to the Game Booster bug, so if you don’t see it yet on your phone, that’s why. According to a message on Reddit, Razer will resume the deployment once the bug is fixed.
