HMD Global has begun the official rollout of the Android 9.0 Pie Software update for the Nokia 7 Plus. After HMD Global confirmed that its entire Nokia portfolio will be updated to Android Pie, it was just a matter of time for its top mid-ranger to receive the update. But after a few issues the company faced, it looks like it is finally here for consumers.
The news was revealed by HMD Global's CEO, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter. While HMD Global hasn't released an official changelog, as a member of the Android One program, we expect the Nokia 7 Plus will receive most of the features available for Google's Pixel phones.
With Android Pie, Nokia 7 Plus owners will gain access to features like the Do Not Disturb mode, a Dashboard feature providing a detailed view of all your mobile activities, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness functionality, as well as the gesture-based intuitive navigation.
