The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is now available in the US through both Amazon and Best Buy. The handset is available in 'Chrome Silver' and 'Chrome Black' and is priced at a whopping $999.99.
So what does this near $1000 purchase get you? The Xperia XZ2 features a 5.8 inch 4K HDR display, dual (19MP+12MP) rear cameras, fingerprint scanner, Qi wireless charging, 64GB of internal storage with microSD expansion and a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB of RAM. The handset comes with a US warranty and is unlocked with LTE support on GSM networks, which means you wont get compatibility on Verizon or Sprint.
While it does have a decent spec sheet, we don't think it warrants such a high price. Even if you are a hardcore Sony fan, it is important to remember that Sony is already working on its successor the Xperia XZ3.
