The specs for the upcoming Nexus model were found on the Weibo site belonging to Chinese IT analyst firm Pan Jiutang. The rumored Huawei built Nexus is expected to feature a 5.7 inch OLED display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, and powered by Huawei's own Hi-Silicon Kirin chipset.

We also hope the choice of using a Kirin chipset wont delay the quick Android updates the Nexus devices are known for. The current Nexus 9 has faced considerable delays in Android updates, which is reportedly caused by its custom NVIDIA processor. Considering the speculative nature of this story, we suggest taking this information with a grain of salt until we learn more.
HTC was the first to build the Google Nexus One, after returning last year for the infamous Google Nexus 9 tablet. Samsung is known for building the Google Galaxy Nexus and Google Nexus S, after LG took over for the Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 5. There have also been speculation that LG will return for another Nexus device this year. The Motorola built Google Nexus 6 is the newest and most expensive in the series to date, and we hope the company will return to its trend of affordable Nexus smartphones.
