Besides announcing three new Android smartphones and a smart wearable, Acer has also announced a new Windows Phone 8.1 handset - the Acer Liquid M220. The handset features a 4 inch display with a 233 ppi pixel density, 4GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
In terms of design, the dual-SIM handset can boast with its Thai Silk-inspired pattern decorating the panels, and the middle frame's pyramidal decoration. On the software side you have Windows Phone 8.1 with Microsoft's apps and services including OneDrive, Skype, Office and Cortana. You also have the promise of a Windows 10 update after it is released later this year.
The Liquid M220 will be available in April through selected retailers in the Europe, Africa, and Middle East region. It will be sold in Mystic Black and Pure White, with a starting price of €79.
