The was officially unveiled today as the more compact version of the company's flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S5. Some markets will get the 4G LTE-enabled Galaxy S5 mini, which likely runs on the Snapdragon 400 system chip, while others will get a non-LTE version, powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 3470. A dual-SIM option will also be available in certain markets. Samsung will include 1.5GB of RAM to ensure your apps run smoothly. In terms of storage, the Galaxy S5 mini offers 16GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD while a 2100 mAh battery will keep the device running through the day.

The Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Samsung's Touchwiz user interface will run on top as usual and you will even get exclusive Galaxy S5 features like the Ultra Power Saving Mode that prolongs your battery longevity.

The Galaxy S5 mini will launch in early July, and has been priced at €479 in Europe (the equivalent of $650).
