Microsoft has unveiled yet another affordable Windows Phone 8.1 device, the . The handset is available in single SIM and dual-SIM form and is the direct successor of the highly popular Nokia Lumia 520, so we can expect it to continue in that trend.

The Nokia Lumia 530 doesn't stray far from the hardware specs offered on its predecessor. It features a 4.0 inch touch display, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 512MB of RAM.

The Lumia 530 runs Windows Phone 8.1, which means you get access to the new Action Center, Word Flow keyboard, personalized Start Screen background, HERE Maps, and the digital voice assistant, Cortana.

While there is no front facing camera, you can use voice commands to take selfies with the main camera using the GlamMe app, and then you can edit them up with Creative Studio. Like the previous entry-level Lumias, you can personalize your 530 with different colored back plates and flip shells to suit your mood or sense of fashion.

The Lumia 530 is a 3G smartphone, so data speeds will peak at about 21Mbps on an HSPA network. Of course, there is Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity included. Like the Lumia 630 and the Lumia 635, the device makes due with on-screen navigation buttons, and has no dedicated shutter key for the camera.

The Lumia 530 and Lumia 530 Dual SIM will start at about €85 before VAT ($114, £67), and should not cost more than €100 ($135, £79) on the high-end. The Lumia 530 will be sold globally, and will be available beginning in select markets in August.
