  5. Now click Programming and then Recovery.
  6. In the new window which opens you will be able to see the firmware you previously downloaded using Navifirm and copied to C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\RM-821 folder
  7. You can also click Find Online and select a code which corresponds with your device to download the firmware file through NCS.
  8. Now click Download and wait for the firmware file to be downloaded to your computer.
  9. Whichever method you choose, the corresponding firmware files will be listed under Recovery.
  10. Now click Start

Installing the firmware on your device
  1. Connect your device to your computer.
  2. Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons, and click Retry on the Product Support Tools window on your computer.
  3. When the device vibrates, immediately release the Volume Down button and the Power button and hold the Volume Up button instead.
  4. Continue holding the Volume Up button until you see the NOKIA logo. At this point the firmware will be flashed to your device.
[NOTE] If you are installing a different variant, NCS will complain at this point. You can just confirm that message and continue with flashing the firmware file.
