The Nokia Lumia 920 is a premium Windows Phone 8 smartphone that helped define Nokia’s push into the modern touchscreen era. It features a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display, 32GB of internal storage, an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with 1080p video recording, a front-facing camera for video calls, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
Despite introducing advanced PureView imaging, the Lumia 920 stays close to the clean polycarbonate design language of the Nokia N9 and Nokia Lumia 900, rather than the bulkier frame of the Nokia 808 PureView.

The PureMotion HD+ display technology allows blur-free scrolling on the curved glass display of the Nokia Lumia 920, with up to 2.5 times faster refresh rates and a super sensitive touch layer that lets you use the phone even while wearing gloves.
Nokia ClearBlack display technology was also improved, helping reduce reflections and improving visibility outdoors under direct sunlight.
Nokia also introduced advanced image stabilization through its floating lens technology. By building a spring-mounted optical assembly, the Lumia 920 delivers true hardware-based stabilization designed to reduce blur and improve low-light photography.
The oversized image sensor allows the Lumia 920 to capture significantly more light than a typical smartphone camera of its era. Combined with the floating lens system, the shutter can remain open longer to gather more detail while helping reduce motion blur.
While the camera does not include a Xenon flash like the Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia claimed major improvements to the dual-LED flash system in an effort to narrow the gap between LED and Xenon performance.
