Facebook updated its iOS app with Retina Display support for the new iPad, ensuring the interface and photos looked sharp on the high-resolution screen. The update also included a solid set of bug fixes and language additions that improved the experience for users across the board.

Beyond Retina support, this update fixed several issues that had been affecting users. Profile pictures now display correctly for everyone, and friend lists consistently show all your friends rather than a partial view. Photo sets now display your name correctly, and photos of people who like Facebook Pages load as expected. The friend request notification badge now only lights up when you actually have a pending request, and you can go offline in chat directly from the app.
New language support was added for Czech, Danish, Greek, Indonesian, Malaysian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Portuguese (Portugal), and Thai.
