[Android app] Evernote update includes handwriting input

Evernote for AndroidEvernote for Android has been updated with several new features and improvements. One of the most interesting new traits is the handwriting feature, which was initially implemented into the beta version of the app. Simply put, the handwriting function allows you to write, draw, or doodle on a note and save it as it is. This feature shouldn't be mistaken for regular text recognition, as it wouldn't automatically transform your scribblings into typed text.

You can download the update directly on your Android device through the Google Play Store or by using the link which follows:

You can select the width and the color of the brush you use for writing into the note. The writing space within a note can be easily expanded, as well.

Apart from the handwriting trait, Evernote's note editor is one of the other already-existing features of the app, which got refreshed with some new perks. The editor now allows you to stress on any text by conveniently highlighting it with a color of your choice. Additionally, the editor also allows you to create hyperlinks between your notes.

Last, but not least, it seems that the Evernote team has listened to the complaints of some of the Evernote users and finally fixed the laggy built-in camera feature. After the update, the integrated snapper is significantly faster and comes with enhanced auto-focusing capabilities.
