Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ unveiled at MWC

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 was announced in New York back in October. Now, not half a year later, the world's largest PC manufacturer has unveiled the higher-end Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, offering the same kind of flexible kickstand and grippy plastic/aluminum design.

The most important distinction between the original 10-inch Yoga tablet and the HD+ is 1900x1200 resolution, which results in a 220 ppi pixel density. You get 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded by an additional 64GB through microSD, an 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.6 megapixel front camera for the occasional video calls. Lenovo has also upgraded the MediaTek processor from last year's model with a quad-core 1.6Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip, and the amount of RAM has been bumped up to the more respectable 2GB.

The 3G-enabled Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ also comes with a 9000mAh battery unit, and includes Dolby Advanced Audio for the best multimedia experience. On the software side, the premium model comes pre-loaded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and Lenovo is making a commitment to provide an OTA update to Android 4.4 KitKat at some point down the line.

The Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ will be made available through "major retailers" and Lenovo's own web store starting in April at a price of $349, which is quite reasonable.
